
1925-40, U. Tin, L.A. McClumpha, and A.G. Bray (architects), Clark & Greig and A.C. Martin & Co. (contractors). Originally (1913, McClumpha) was in Bombay art deco style but in 1925 Burmese nationalists demanded Burmese forms derived from temples from Pagan including the spectacular roof.
