Qianlong Emperor's Garden of Peace and Tranquility (1779) with over 20 pavilions, including Juanqinzhai, which included illusionistic interior decoration by Italian Jesuit Giuseppe Castiglione (1688-1766). Restored 2008 by World Monuments Fund, scheduled to open 2020. UNESCO World Heritage Site, inscribed 1987.
