Cholula, N.S. de los Remedios

1574-1629 with 18th century additions. Built on top of the pre-Hispanic Tlachihualtepetl temple, dedicated to Quetzalcoatl (constructed 3rd century BC to 9th century AD), largest pyramid in world (450 metres wide and 66 metres tall) in size although shorter than Great Pyramid of Giza.
